Researching Movies with Common Names

Researching any kind of movie today can be a incredible hassle. Not only do movie titles have very common words in them making them hard to search for, but there are dupes, clones, and fake reviews of versions of the satire. This makes it incredibly hard to search or find anything to use for a research paper or even for marketing material. Luckily there are a lot of different tools out there who are not good using Google modifiers. For instance we were searching for the movie Avatar. What’s difficult about this search is that Avatar is not only a name of a movie but also a term used for someone’s online identity. Luckily at the time we used MyWebSearch that greatly helped by auto guessing our query. Vice versa you can download software (and there are a lot of options) and build your own search engine. You can also visit Udacity where they will teach you how to build a search engine.

Well after a while we realized that Avatar the movie will have sequels. Not only will part 2 and 3 be filmed together, there will also be a prequel. In case you are not familiar with the term, a prequel refers to a setting before the main plot. Many long running movies have done this including Star Wars which is directed by James Cameron the same director directing Avatar. In fact many people say that the themes of both movies are very alike. Both have natives or citizens that are oppressed who are saved by a savior. In Star Wars it was Luke Skywalker, and in Avatar it was Jake Sully both who in the beginning of the film had no intention of saving the oppressed to begin with.
